What do you find the biggest challenge in your work?

The biggest challenge in the job is the diversity of tasks and therefore no day is the same. You have personal contact with different parties and every situation is different. This requires a bit of creativity and assertiveness. That is exactly what makes the work so much fun!

What do you do in daily life?

In my daily life I love to be outside and whether it's rowing, running or cycling doesn't matter! Having a nice evening with friends having drinks or just watching a movie on the couch also make me very happy.

What do you find the biggest challenge in the job?

I like the challenge of learning to communicate both with large companies
as well as with fellow students. In fact, you learn a lot from this because you communicate so differently with both.

What do you do in daily life?

In daily life I am busy with different things. I study, but I also live in a very nice fraternity house! I also like to go to parties but I also like to chill at home.

What do you find the biggest challenge in the work?

In my opinion the biggest challenge is trying to get diverse interests to converge. For example, the interests of employees are often at odds with the interests of clients. When this succeeds, it gives me a tremendous kick. One good example of this is the instant payment of the salary after a shift has been worked for the employees.

What are your hobbies?

In my spare time I like to cook. I really enjoy creating something and then eating it with friends or family. I also do boxing and I can regularly be found on my racing bike. I can really enjoy making bicycle trips through Europe with my friends.

What do you do enjoy in daily life?

I love sports, so after a day at work I like to hit the gym or go for a run. I also own a racing bike, but in all honesty I must confess that it has mainly seen the inside of my shed. I also love everything that has to do with dining. Both the food and the drinks.

What do you like about your job?

I really feel that we can make a difference. It is becoming increasingly expensive to build up a normal life. If you need flexibility because of a study or other commitments, it is hardly offered. We try to offer that flexibility. Apart from that, I work in a really nice team and I enjoy coming to the office every day.

What do you enjoy in daily life?

I like to stay up to date with current events. I therefore enjoy reading news articles and analysis on market operations. I can lose myself in figuring out underlying dependencies. I get energy from organizing activities for friends, colleagues, family and other people. Besides these activities I'm a Willem season ticket holder and I passionately watch games of 'my' NFL team the Philadelphia Eagles.

What do you like about your job?

Facilitating a stable part-time job is very important for the financial stability of students. It is currently too easy to take out student loans. The consequences are downplayed. In addition, the policy on the weight of a study debt is constantly changing in view of financial products such as a mortgage. Being able to make a difference here motivates me every day. I'm enjoy the approachable and open atmosphere at the office every day.

Frequently asked questions

Wage tax reduction is a discount on the tax you pay on your salary. If you apply this reduction, you pay less tax and, therefore, receive a higher net salary. You're allowed to apply this tax reduction with only one employer at a time.

A payslip provides a detailed overview of your earnings and deductions. At the top, you usually find personal details, such as your name and the number of hours worked. Next, you'll see the gross salary and deductions, like wage tax, followed by the net amount that gets paid out to you.

You'll also notice the 'all-in rate'. This rate consists of your gross hourly wage, combined with all reserves, like holiday pay and other allowances. It means that for every hour worked, in addition to your gross hourly wage, you also build up a reserve for these extras. This is why your gross hourly wage is lower than the all-in rate.

Because it provides a more transparent view of what you earn in total per hour. It doesn't just show your hourly wage but also all the additional amounts you accumulate. This way, you get a clear insight into your total earnings based on the hours worked.

You can work with the Knikkerbaan as soon as you're fully registered with us. After registration, you'll receive an email with your login details for the Knikkerbaan.

No, within our temp agency, it's not possible to work as a freelancer (ZZP'er). We focus on deploying individual employees based on a temp employment agreement.
